Part time Direct Payments & Individual Service Funds Officer
Grade 5-£27228-££30213pro rata (Hours available are 28.2 hours per week -working four or five days per week as agreed with the team manager)
The post of Direct Payments & Individual Service Funds Officer has arisen within the Personalisation team of Joint Commissioning Unit, Chief Operating directorate, London Borough Of Havering.
About the Job
As a Direct Payments & Individual Funds Officer, you will play a key role in providing support to residents who are in receipt of direct payments. The work of the team is varied and as a member, you will provide comprehensive advice, guidance and, support to residents, social care teams, providers, service users, and outside agencies ensuring client confidentiality at all times in accordance with Direct Payments guidance and LBH policies. You will help set up direct payments, providing information on options to help individuals manage the scheme. You will participate in completing financial monitoring of direct payments spend, closing finished accounts, processing changes using Adult Social Care systems (Liquidlogic). You may be called upon to provide admin support to the personal assistant service processing ID badges, parking permit and other support that may be required from time to time.
