Social Worker - Grade G7/G8 £43,680 - £53,172pa

Key Responsibilities

As a Social Worker in our Safeguarding Adults Team, you will:

  • Act as the Enquiry Officer for safeguarding enquiries.
  • Lead and contribute to Section 42 enquiries, ensuring robust risk assessments and effective protection plans.
  • Work in partnership with health professionals, police, and community organisations to deliver coordinated safeguarding interventions.
  • Ensure all actions comply with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and local safeguarding policies.
  • Support adults and carers to maintain independence, prevent harm, and promote wellbeing.
  • Prepare for and participate in safeguarding and multi-agency meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, contributing to service development and reflective practice.
  • Support quality assurance, performance reporting, and continuous service improvement.
  • Champion personalised, strengths-based approaches that promote independence and wellbeing.
