We now need an exceptional Highways & Traffic Manager to further our ambitions for a cleaner, safer, prouder borough that works together with our residents.
About the role
As the Highways & Traffic Manager, you will be responsible for the management of resources and assets in Highways and Traffic, ensuring that an efficient, cost-effective and professional service is provided to all. With financial responsibility of a multi-millions pound budget (capital and revenue), you have provide responsibility for a range of services ranging from flooding, to network management and from highway maintenance to street lighting. There is an ambitious and broad agenda to deliver and you will play a central role in providing best-in-class services to the borough.
About you
You will bring a proven track record of substantive delivery in Highways and Traffic schemes at management level. Senior management experience is required to provide leadership and development of a dedicated business unit as is demonstrable experience in managing large budgets.
In addition to the technical requirements of this role you will be a great team player, able to build relationships and trust, take responsibility and have an attitude that’s consistent with our progressive, hardworking and collaborative team.
