As we continue our exciting journey on building on our ‘good’ OFSTED inspection, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly ambitious Quality Assurance Officer to contribute to the development of our children’s safeguarding and care services.

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible in the main for the quality assurance of an eight borough residential project. The post holder will contribute to the development of robust/best practice performance management and outcome measures with user experience being pivotal, across all residential providers commissioned by the local authorities. The post holder will lead on the management of the residential contract and will be responsible for provider development.

Working in collaboration with a talented team of individuals we’re working to improve outcomes and opportunities for local, at risk and vulnerable Children and Young people in the London Borough of Havering.

This is a rewarding role, where you will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to the development of Quality Assurance processes across residential provision in East London, driving up standards of care for children in care.

About you

To succeed within this role, you will have a strong focus on delivering best outcomes for children, young people and families. With a background in Quality Assurance, you will bring with you an element of innovation, creativity and drive to identify continuous improvement opportunities across the service.

A key part of this role will be to establish effective and long-standing relationships with various stakeholders, most importantly our local residents and partners. As a result you will have a good understanding of the local area its challenges.
